Privacy Policy for the Resume Tailor

This page says what the Resume Tailor keeps about you, who processes it, and how to delete it. The service is run by UD Analytics LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA).
What we store
Your profile, the job postings you tailor for, and the resumes and cover letters written for you stay until you delete your account. The PDF files are deleted 90 days after a resume is written; a new PDF is printed from the saved text when you download again.
Your credit balance and purchase history, so that credits can be granted, spent, refunded, and reconciled.
Usage counts for the free steps (fits, uploads, imports) are keyed by your account and a hashed form of your network address, never the address itself, and deleted after two days. One record per job of the free fit you ran, keyed by your account, stays until you delete your account, so the same free fit is not run twice.
AI providers
To write your documents, your profile and the job posting are sent to AI model providers (currently Google, Anthropic and, as a backup, OpenAI) through the Vercel AI Gateway. We require providers that do not train on this data, Vercel does not keep prompts or outputs after a request completes, and we never use your data to train any model.
Payments, storage and analytics
Payments are handled by Polar, the merchant of record. Polar receives your email address and payment details; we never see your card.
Files and data are stored on Supabase and served through Vercel.
Usage analytics run on PostHog. Events contain ids, counts, scores and timings, never the text of your profile, postings or resumes. PostHog receives your IP address and approximate location as part of normal web analytics.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your profile, resumes, or letters to train any model. We do not show your documents to anyone else.
Deleting everything
Delete your account from the account page. That removes your profile, your postings, your resumes and letters, your files, your usage counts, and your credit ledger. Unused credits are forfeited when you delete your account. Purchases already made are kept by Polar as the merchant of record, as their own records require.
An uploaded file is read once and never stored; only the text taken from it is kept.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing vincent@unchaindata.xyz. Your data is processed in the United States. We answer within 30 days.
